This photo was taken in March 1998 onboard the Seabourn Pride cruise ship where I was the house bandleader during Oprah Winfrey's "Maya Angelou's 70th Birthday Cruise". We were preparing Quincy's tune "Sister" from the movie "The Color Purple" for performance that evening by Quincy's daughter Jolie. Quincy played piano, Rennie and I both played synths.
